According to John 1:5-9 we see that Jesus is much interested on this man's faith. Though the man don't know much about Jesus but the faith that he carried made Jesus to walk towards him. Being failure for almost 38years doesn't make any man to hold up unto his/her faith, Either he/she should giveup or die. But this man being impotent who cannot walk nor stand waiting for that one day so that he can go in to that pool before anyone steppeth first. Here we need to observe two things first one, It is impossible for a man especially for an impotent to have a thought to steppeth down first in the pool because he is not only the one who is sick there were many who can walk are suffering from one or the other disease, So no matter how many times you try one or the other person steps into the pool.
