Prayer Changed Her Life

Prayer Changed Her Life  And Now She Owns 12 Restaurants

The humble beginnings of a miraculous opening, and the unprecedented success of the Jambalaya Shoppe is the basis of this testimony to just how one family's faith in God changed their lives forever.

It was the early 1990's, Stefan and Cheryl Fontenot were struggling to raise five boys in a declining economy that led to the loss of a business venture and their savings. The family was faced with a struggle they didn't know how to handle. Working multiple jobs to make ends meet, the challenges seemed never-ending. Cheryl was worn out and utterly discouraged. Driving home one day, she took a wrong turn and ended up on a road in which she was not familiar. Panic set in, and she began to pray. Then, she heard a distinct, external voice tell her to, "Turn around." As she found her way back home, Cheryl knew she couldn't continue to clean houses anymore and decided to give her notice. Early the next morning, before going to the house she was cleaning that day, she had a vision of people lined up at a local eatery for a good home cooked meal. It was that moment that the Jambalaya Shoppe was born.

They had no food service experience and had never cooked jambalaya in anything larger than a pot on the kitchen stove. Yet she trusted this was the Lord's plan, so she immediately set out to find a spot h their home town of Gonzales, LA.Within Two Weeks the first Jambalaya Shoppe was up and running. While there were many continued struggles ahead, and many lessons to be learned, the Lord had given her a word and a prayer, and she knew He was faithful to keep it.

"If God can take o family with no culinary training and use them to create a thriving restaurant there's nothing He can't and won't do for you. our hard work and faith anyone con succeed God bless you all!" s because we treat our customers like family, and we believe in giving back. Trusting The LORD Brings a Greater Glory

As we see the life of Joseph in the Bible, God gave Joseph a vision which displeased his brothers and have abandoned Joseph by throwing him into a deep pit which is far from the land of Canaan. This was the first stage of Joseph, where his own family has abandoned him. But Joseph never got vexed nor irritated in such situations, but His only focus was the dream (visions he received) and trusting God who gave him such visions and eventually became slave under Potiphar. Now most of the people might think that there is no relation between the dream and the situation of Joseph, now here comes the test in your life, Whatever the situation you are in right now, The question arises in front of you, Are you still holding on to the promise of God? And trusting Him or are you choosing(considering) a different path? Still being a slave, Joseph was obedient to Potiphar (one of the Pharaoh's official; the captain of the guard) which is one of the best quality to have for a believer. O...

A Little Boy and A Stranger

There was a little boy who is living his whole life in a dark room, Where not even the little light enters the Room. And it's a terrible moment for him to live inside. But inbetween a stranger knocks the door of the room everyday but little boy never responded and rejected him because he lost his faith on everyone being in the darkness. While it goes on one day stranger knocks the door again and asks the little boy how he entered the dark room and why you are unable not come out even when I try to help you Little Boy Replied " I'm locked inside the room and  I cannot  come out" Stranger : "You can open the lock of the door from inside and it is not locked from outside" Little Boy Replied " I'm can't move my feet and hands because I'm tied by the chains" Stranger : " Shall I come and help you out" Little Boy: No please don't come even this people will lock you up with me inside the dark room" And I don't wan...

Deliverance From Slavery

DELIVERANCE FROM SLAVERY Project 9 Reading the title, one might have estimated that this article might not be subjective to their living and declare themselves as ‘not slaves’. Man, in all his life was being a slave without realizing it, living under different kind of bondages developed as addiction or weakness. Bondage by definition is “the state of being a slave” and man being directly controlled. Many, who have started taking harmful drugs have begun with intentions of fun, further approaching it towards satisfaction and an artificial-temporary trance making you void of the realization-the trance produced by a drug is just temporary, yet too powerful to make one a slave of it, making it hard for one to live without the usage of such drugs harming body on continuous intake intervals. Man further makes approaches towards such harmful drugs indicating being a slave of it.  And so many live under such different bondages with hopeless situations. Bondages in the long ...
